Interim Administrator Resigns After Less Than 5 Weeks on the Job

Mr. Dale Shaddox was appointed as Shady Cove's Interim City Administrator on October 16th, 2025.  Mr. Shaddox informed the City of his resignation on November 12th, and his last day was November 25th.  SCM believes the public should be aware of Mr. Shaddox's reasons for resigning.  The following letter was sent to every Shady Cove Council member, and it is therefore a matter of public record.
