The screenshots below were captured from the Shady Cove City public website on October 17th, 2025. The content was provided by former City Administrator Michele Parry; it remained on the City's website for approximately six months before being taken down sometime in January 2026. SCM is displaying this content because we believe materials we have appear to corroborate parts of Parry's allegations -- specifically that a large sum of money was transferred to the City's investment account, and her allegation that the existence of the funds were omitted from public communications and financial summaries presented to the community.
Read our summary of the City's Investment Account Balances from our public records request.
Read our summary of the City's $1.6M financial windfall.

Listen to Administrator Parry tell the budget committee about the $1.15M transfer
Note: It seems unlikely to SCM that the key members of the Budget Committee were unaware of the existence of these funds.

At the close of polls on July 7th, the unofficial recall voter results showed 510 residents voting in favor to recall our appointed Mayor, and 225 against it. As we await the official, certified results from the Jackson County Elections Office, we want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in this process, whether by signing a petition, volunteering their time, or making their voice heard. We want to thank every neighbor who refused to stay silent, who stood up for transparency, and who took the time to cast their ballot. THANK YOU!!!
